Honeywell receives notice to proceed to support Sandia National Laboratories

National Technology & Engineering Solutions of Sandia (NTESS) LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Honeywell International, is pleased that the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) has issued the Notice to Proceed to begin transition activities for the management and operation of Sandia National Laboratories (SNL). NTESS subcontractors include Northrop Grumman Technical Services Inc., Universities Research Associates (URA), Longenecker & Associates, and Sandia Technical Partners.

The current contract for SNL will expire on April 30, 2017, and NTESS will immediately assume responsibility on May 1, 2017.

Dr. Stephen Younger will serve as Sandia Laboratories Director, and Mr. David Douglass will be the Deputy Director.
